Amy is currently teaching Rise and Sing classes at the Southern California Children’s Museum in Pasadena!
This 45-minute class is designed for parents/caregivers and children to participate together in active music making, while building and strengthening genuine bonds of trust and communication. Since the brain is developing quickly from birth to age three, early childhood music involvement is a vital part of intellectual development. Music activities are designed to develop and support fine and gross motor skills, language and communication, early academic concepts such as color, shape, size, numbers, counting, space, and time, social skills such as sharing, cooperation, and teamwork, and self-esteem and confidence. Amy uses a multi-sensory approach to support intellectual development in an entertaining and nurturing environment.
